Holy Spirit Kindergarten students, together with their teachers and helpers, recently visited Calmsley Hill City Farm as part of their Science unit. Here they were able to get up close to a range of native and farmyard animals.
The children were very excited about their visit to the farm.
Some of the children told us what they liked ...
I liked when we patted the animals and when we went on the tractor ride. I also liked when I volunteered to have a go using the whip. I felt a bit nervous but it was fantastic.

I liked when the dog rounded up the sheep. I also liked the tractor ride because we went down a big hill. I was a little bit scared but it was great fun.

I patted a rabbit and a chick and they felt really soft. When I milked the cow milk came out of the udder. I felt very excited to go to the farm.

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙 A huge thank you to all the dads, stepdads, uncles, grandads, and father figures who joined us for our special Father’s Day Breakfast. It was such a joy to see so many families together celebrating! The children loved dressing up as their dads, and it was wonderful watching the fun continue in the playground as dads joined in the games with their kids. 🏀🤸 We also enjoyed visits to the classroom (even some of our staff members' dads came along). We are so grateful for the love, guidance, and example you share with our community each day. 💙

Our Year 1 students have been learning about the Sacraments like Baptism and belonging. A Clay-tastic Kangaroo Adventure! Our Stage One students had a fantastic time getting creative with clay this week! They explored the properties of clay before creating a tile base for their very own hand-built kangaroos. It was a joy to see them so engaged in the process, and they especially loved painting their tiles to bring their creations to life. This project was a meaningful way for our students to learn about native Australian fauna and celebrate our wonderful kangaroos and their habitat. What a great way to combine art and science!

What a beautiful day for fun at our Infants Fun Day! 🎉 We're so excited to see our little ones having the time of their lives, laughing and playing with their friends. What an absolutely delightful morning at Holy Spirit's Book Parade today! Our amazing students and teachers truly outdid themselves with their incredible costumes. 🤩 From classic characters to modern heroes, the creativity on display was simply wonderful. It warms our hearts to see such enthusiasm for reading and bringing beloved stories to life. A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who helped with the fantastic outfits – your efforts made the parade extra special!
