Last Wednesday and Thursday our children were very excited to be able to purchase a special gift for the fathers, grandfathers and male carers.
Thank you to all our wonderful parents who give so generously of their time to facilitate such special events! Not only do they turn up on the day to sell gifts, but the organise to purchase and wrap as well, ensuring that all children can take something very special home to their father figures.

Year 6 have been learning to use mono-printing techniques to create a unique artwork that explores the "likeness" of an object through light ๐ and shadow. ๐ They are experimenting with the use of ink to create their artworks. Students then experimented with stencil printmaking. Some created their own stencils while others used commercial stencils. They used sponges or paintbrushes to apply the paint using the stipple technique. They are enjoying learning new skills to create artworks.12 Mar 2026

๐ก Year 4 Persuasive Writing in Action! โ๏ธ Our Year 4 students have been learning how to use precise vocabulary to persuade and engage their audience. As part of their persuasive writing unit, students stepped into the role of real estate agents and created texts to โsellโ homes using descriptive and powerful language. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as they described spacious living areas, breathtaking views, and beautifully designed homes. Well done, Year 4, for using your words so effectively to persuade and inform! ๐๐
