Throughout this term Year 5 students have been using their scientific knowledge and understanding about planets to create informative picture books for our Year 1 students.
It was crucial that Year 5 used language appropriate to their purpose and audience. Students demonstrate all the skills they had learned in class very well when presenting each fun facts about space as well as having a great time.
An example of an activity that Year 5 and Year 1 participated in was sharing their fun facts in groups rotating around the room in order to engage with multiple groups and to learn lots about various planets and sharing the knowledge that they had learned with one another.

๐ Adorable Moments from Santa's Visit! ๐ We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a very special guest to our infant class today: Santa Claus! Our littlest learners were full of wonder and curiosity as they met the man in the red suit. There were lots of happy smiles, gentle hand waves, and wide-eyed amazement! Even the most tentative babies enjoyed the festive cheer. It's such a joy to share these magical, first-time holiday experiences with our wonderful infants and their families. We hope these sweet memories bring a little extra sparkle to your holiday season! โจ
