In Week 5 the NSW Fire Brigade came to visit Year One as part of the Safe Living PDHPE unit.
The students were taught about fire safety in the home and using the "000" emergency number responsibly. They were able to ask questions about the fire equipment and they saw the protective clothing worn by the fire fighters.
The students were able to go inside the fire truck, use the hose and hear the siren. They were able to personally thank the fire brigade for keeping the community safe.
The Year One teaching team thank the fire brigade for their generosity of spirit in sharing their knowledge about this important learning with the students.

This week in English Year 3 students were exploring Visual Persuasion techniques used in advertisements. - These work samples demonstrate the skill to identify an advertisement's target audience and key product, explain how specific visual features (like colour, font, and images) are intentionally used to persuade the viewer.

πΆ Zing into Dance! ππΊ This term in Zing, our focus is on dance! Last week, our Year 4 students had a fantastic time learning Hip Hop and Cha Cha dance moves from the 1950s and 1970s, guided by our energetic Zing instructors. There were plenty of smiles, rhythm, and fun as everyone moved to the beat! π΅

A massive shoutout to our Years 3 and 4 students who absolutely rocked the Touch Football Gala Day today! π The energy was electric, the smiles were endless, and the sportsmanship was next level!
